Bathroom Ventilation

Moisture in the bathroom can cause more than unsightly mildew stains and allergy symptoms. Moisture build-up can also create structural damage by providing an ideal condition for insects and wood rot.

The Home Ventilation Institute recommends a ventilation rate based on the size of the room and the number and type of fixtures present. Exhaust points should be located over or near the shower and/or tub and in any enclosed toilet. A Spruce inline fan is ideal, as it can attach to multiple exhaust points. One fan is all you need!

Spruce manufactures a number of fans suitable for bathroom ventilation, including the RB, RV and RL Series.
