Two Spruce companies, AccuStar Labs and RadonAway, exhibited their products and services at the 2006 International Radon Symposium held by the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST) in Kansas City, MO, in September.
During the AARST Annual Meeting, Spruce Vice President of Sales and Marketing David Hill, who was President of the nonprofit organization from September 2006 to September 2006, was honored for his "outstanding service and leadership" (see related article, "David Hill Recognized for Leadership"). Also at the conference, Carolyn Allen, President of AccuStar Labs, was elected Vice President of AARST.
While in Kansas City for the Radon Symposium RadonAway and AccuStar co-hosted a Customer Appreciation Party at Pierpont's at Union Station. A standing-room-only crowd of more than 100 guests enjoyed the restaurant's renowned beef tenderloin, crab cakes, additional food and drinks along with the historic ambiance of the location.
